A welcoming visit for a distinguished guest Mr. Hasan Ozkoc
The culmination of the cooperation protocol between Gas Regulatory Authority “GasReg” and the Association Mediterranean Energy Regulators “MedReg”. A meeting was held at the GasReg premises in the 5th Settlement / New Cairo, between the staff headed by Eng. Karem Mahmoud – Executive Chairman & Mr. Hasan Ozkoc – MedReg Deputy Secretary General.
Eng. Karem opened the meeting with a welcome speech, and then Mr. Hasan pointed to the activities of the MedReg and its role in development and supporting the communication between Mediterranean countries in the field of natural gas activities, gas markets and forms of studies and reports and all activities provided by the organization. In addition, methods of cooperation in the areas of capacity building, training, technical field visits and other technical cooperation were also discussed to support and enhance the work power of GasReg in performing its mandated role as provided in the Gas Law and its Executive Regulation.
