First Batch`s Graduation of the “Be an Ambassador for Sustainable Development” and the launch of the “Road to COP27” initiative
GasReg participated in the graduation ceremony of the first batch of the Initiative be an ambassador for sustainable development and the launch of the initiative “Road to COP27”, through the participation of chemist / Mohammed Adel Moustafa, Safety and Sustainability Manager in the organization and in the presence of Dr. Hala Al Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Ambassador / Nabila Makram Minister of Immigration and Egyptian Affairs Abroad, Dr. Yasmine Fouad Minister of Environment, Dr. Rasha Ragheb, Executive Director of the National Academy for Youth Training, and Dr. Sherifa Sharif, Executive Director of the National Institute of Governance Sustainable development as well as the presence of a large number of conservative gentlemen.
Mohammed Adel Safety and Sustainability Manager were honored for his accreditation as an ambassador for sustainable development and a certified trainer from the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development. All Egyptian provinces in the initiative, which confirms the state’s keenness to spread development awareness in all Egyptian regions in order to promote efforts to achieve balanced regional development, which is a key pillar of Egypt’s vision 2030, as well as the state’s orientation and efforts to settle the sustainable development goals at the provincial level.
The Arab Republic of Egypt is honored to host the 2022 COP 27 Conference in Sharm el-Sheikh, reflecting Egypt’s central role regionally and internationally, so the state is working with all its institutions and under the direct guidance of the President to make this global event a success, and the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development believes in the importance of involving young graduates of the Be An Ambassador initiative and exploiting their energy to address the phenomenon of climate change, adapt to its effects and reduce emissions. The “Road to cop27” initiative, in coordination with entities such as the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Immigration and Egyptian Affairs Abroad, the Ministry of Education, the National Training Academy, and other international partners.
