GASREG participates in the 10th Mediterranean Offshore Conference and Exhibition “MOC 2019″
The Gas Regulatory Authority participated in the 10th Mediterranean Offshore Conference MOC 2019. Organized by the Italian company IES SRL from 15 to 17 October 2019 at the Bibliotheca Alexandria center. Under the patronage of H.E. Eng. Tarek El-Molla – Minister of Petroleum & Mineral Resources of Egypt.
Due to the necessity of the presence of the Gas Regulator in the international forums and spreading awareness of regulatory activities locally and internationally, Gas Reg has participated for the first time since its establishment in the exhibition of the conference, with a distinctive pavilion designed and implemented to display and illustrate the message of Engineer Tarek El Molla – Minister of Petroleum & Mineral Resources and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Gas Regulator, to well describe the goals and objectives of GASREG to achieve a free gas market in Egypt, and posters on the participation of GASREGg in achieving the energy strategy 2035, and the principles and achievements of GASREG during the first year as well as the new design of the gas market after issuing the Law regulating the gas market.
The exhibition stand has witnessed a large number of guests and visitors where they were welcomed by Eng. Karem Mahmoud, Executive Chairman of Gas Regulatory Authority and GASREG delegates.
The participation of GASREG in the exhibition was financed by the European Union (EU) managed by AFD.
Also, a session was organized in the main hall of the library entitled “New Regulatory Framework and the way forward”, presented by Ms. Engy Adly – General Manager of Licenses and Contracts on behalf of CEO Eng. Karem Mahmoud.
