Gas Regulatory Authority participated in the sixth edition of Egypt Petroleum Show (EGYPS 2023) which was held on 13-15 February, 2023, which this year aims to discuss the mechanisms of transformation in the field of energy and energy security, while addressing the issue of climate action and strengthening joint efforts, which is Which contributes to reshaping global markets.

This is the largest event in the global gas and petroleum industry, which is organized by the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources under the patronage and presence of His Excellency the President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, with the participation of the Prime Minister, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, and Engineer Tarek El-Mulla, the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, in addition to the participation of all CEOs of the energy, oil and gas sectors in the world. An elite group of energy ministers, government representatives, high-level European Union officials, secretaries of international energy organizations, business leaders and investors in the energy sector to discuss the most important issues to support the progress of the oil and gas sector.

As usual, the device’s pavilion appeared in a distinguished and attractive appearance, as it received praise from all visitors to the exhibition in the presence of Mr. Engineer / Karem Mahmoud, CEO, accompanied by a number of scientists in GasReg. A documentary film was also shown about the regulator`s activity and what it achieved during the previous period and future plans with the aim of organizing everything related to gas market activities. The Egyptian government aims to ensure the availability of gas and work to ensure that gas networks and facilities are available to others, taking into account the state policy and the government’s strategy towards liberalizing the market and creating a competitive market, in addition to transforming Egypt into a regional center for the trade and circulation of energy in general and gas in particular.
