In cooperation with the Egyptian Red Crescent: The Gas Regulatory Authority organizes a training course in the field of life support and first aid
Gas Regulatory Authority held a training course on the basics of life support and first aid over three days, starting from March 20 to 22, in Egyptian Petrochemical Holding Company`s premises. The course was attended by a large number of employees of GasReg. The main goal of organizing this course was to train volunteers in the field of basics of first aid.
The course was divided between theoretical lectures and practical exercises, which gave it great importance and benefit, as the trainees were given the opportunity to simulate situations that may occur in reality, train on them directly, and ensure the benefit that may save a person’s life one day. This is in addition to general discussions between trainers and trainees, which provided the opportunity to increase benefit and receive the largest amount of valuable and useful information in this field.
It is also worth noting that there had to be indicators for evaluation to ensure that the trainees obtained the desired benefit and information required from this course, as there was a test before and after the course, If the trainee passes the test after the end of the course, he will receive a certificate in his name from the Egyptian Red Crescent Society, allowing him to be a first responder who knows the basics of life support and first aid, which will certainly be of benefit to him and everyone.
