Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources,Eng. Tarek El Molla, paid a visit to Gas Regulatory Authority`s booth during the opening of the third conference and exhibition of energy efficiency in the petroleum sector EPEEC 2022, where he met with Eng. Karem Mahmoud, CEOof Gas Regulatory Authority. It is worth mentioning that El Molla is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Regulator.
GASREG was keen to actively participate in the exhibition and conference EPEEC2022 during the period from 17-18 May under the patronage of Eng. Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources.
The Gas Regulatory Authority aims to participate and exist in the domestic and international forums so that it can convey its primary goal in regulating, following up and monitoring the gas market activities, and to ensure the availability of the third party access, taking into account the state’s policy and the government’s strategy towards liberalizing the gas market and creating a competitive market, in addition to transforming the gas market into a regional hub for energy trading in general and specially the gas.
EPEEC 2022 conference and exhibition aims to establish a permanent and strong business relationship between all the companies of theEgyptian Petroleum Sector on one side, and the Energy efficiency technology & service funders, Consulting firms, National and International financing Institutions on the other side, to commence their full potentials and optimize the optimum usage of energy resources. Moreover, it is an opportunity to meet and communicate with relevant stakeholders in the field of energy in the presence of most of the Egyptian petroleum companies.
